Pieternel Groeneveld

Pieternel Groeneveld is an HR Business Partner and organizational coach at ProRail, where she coaches and advises directors and managers on leadership, talent development, and organizational change. Previously, she worked as an HR advisor, trainer, and (career)coach for various organizations. She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Coaching (Organizational Learning & Development) and has a strong fascination for human development and reducing feelings of powerlessness in organizations. Pieternel conducted empirical research among organizational coaches on how they recognize and strengthen psychological safety in groups, particularly during moments of tension and uncertainty. Her work centers on building learning cultures, facilitating reflective dialogue, and supporting leaders in navigating complex, interconnected change by working with the emotional and relational dynamics present in groups and systems.
